Diagnosis and treatment of chronic diseases.

  • The date: 19.04.2019

In Eastern medicine, not the brain, but the heart is considered to be the focus of consciousness, the habitat of the Atman, the true "I". In the old days in Europe they said: "As a man thinks in his heart, such is he." The same thought is contained in the Upanishads, the ancient sacred books of India. The feelings that we experience in the depths of our hearts are the measure of who we really are, and our thoughts in our heads are most often just superficial impressions passing through our feelings. Therefore, heart disease reflects the underlying problems of the individual. Today, heart disease is perhaps the number one cause of death. To a large extent, this is due to the fact that in our culture, which considers the goal of personal success rather than unity with other people, everything of the heart is rejected. Figuratively speaking, people die of broken hearts and spiritual hunger.

Heart disease includes heart attacks, angina pectoris, arteriosclerosis, hypertension, and stroke. Heart attacks (heart attacks), which eventually end in most heart diseases, are usually preceded by palpitations, numbness, or strong pain in the chest, in the middle part of the back, extending into the arms, and insomnia. There may also be cyanosis (cyanosis of the lips and tongue), shortness of breath, fever, cough, hiccups, vomiting, loss of consciousness.

Congenital or hereditary predisposition, suppression of emotions, excessive stress and anxiety, malnutrition, physical and emotional trauma lead to heart disease. Rheumatic diseases and liver disorders can be complicated by heart disease. Since the heart is an "emotional" organ, the emotional causes of disease should be investigated first. Often, there are troubles at work or in relationships with loved ones, which may indicate a lack of agreement with one's own heart, an inability to feel the surrounding people with one's heart.

Representatives of all constitutional types are subject to heart diseases. From an Ayurvedic point of view, heart diseases, especially heart attacks and strokes, are most often Pitta disorders, since Pitta is related to the blood. An angry, domineering, demanding boss with a purple face, suddenly dying of a heart attack - a typical representative of Pitta, rejecting the truth of his heart.

Vata-type heart disease is more common in old age, when tissues dry out and harden. blood vessels. Kapha-type heart disease is usually caused by overeating and accumulation of mucus, fat and cholesterol, which prevents normal operation hearts.

The diet of Americans and Europeans, which is centered on animal fats and heavy oily foods, along with a sedentary lifestyle and the adoption of a value system based on the desire to surpass others, to achieve heights in a career, all this makes the predisposition to heart disease characteristic of modern civilization.

General principles for the treatment of heart disease

The heart needs first of all a long rest, or at least a decrease in activity, both physical and mental, with the exclusion of all tension and anxiety. You need to reconnect with your heart and realize the true purpose of your life. Yoga asanas and meditation are used, which are done without any effort and control over the breath and mind. Physical exertion and tiring trips should be avoided.

There is a special Ayurvedic herb that has a pronounced therapeutic effect in all heart diseases, - arjuna (Terminalia arjuna, related to the plants that make up Triphala). This herb tones the heart and lungs, stimulates blood circulation, strengthens the heart muscle, stops bleeding and promotes tissue healing. Arjuna acts in a balanced way on all three doshas. Usually it is cooked with ghee or taken with it. Arjuna is good for all kinds of heart failure.

Take 1-3 g of Arjuna Powder or Heart Tonic (No. 11) daily with honey for Kapha, with ghee for Pitta, and with milk and ghee for Vata. Arjuna combined with ashwagandha and guggul is a good general heart tonic. Elecampane is also useful, used in Ayurveda and Western herbal medicine for pain in the heart and elevated level cholesterol.

A good heart tonic for all three constitutional types is saffron, which is usually taken as a milk decoction (1 g per cup of milk). Saffron is also a special rejuvenator and tonic for Pitta and the female reproductive system.

AT Chinese medicine Dan shen (a type of sage) is considered a special herb in the treatment of heart disease, which improves blood circulation, strengthens the heart and calms the emotions. it excellent remedy to relieve pain in angina pectoris, natural analogue nitroglycerin. It is taken with a small amount of cardamom and sandalwood, both before and after heart attacks. Dan shen reduces blood viscosity. It is especially recommended for Pitta and Kapha conditions. In conditions of Vata, warm spices, such as cinnamon, are added to it.

The best heart tonic in Western herbal medicine is hawthorn berries. Hawthorn improves blood circulation, strengthens the heart muscle, lowers cholesterol and ultimately promotes longevity. Hawthorn berries, especially in the form of tincture, are useful for Vata and Kapha types. They make excellent wine.

Another well-known remedy in the West is myrrh. Just like the guggul used in Ayurveda, myrrh cleanses the blood well, lowers cholesterol, improves blood circulation and strengthens deep-lying tissues. This heart tonic can be taken as a tincture or tea with turmeric. The decoction must be carefully filtered.

Spices such as ginger, cardamom and cinnamon work well on the heart, especially useful in conditions of Vata and Kapha. These spices improve blood circulation and emotional background, create a joyful mood. Sandal has special properties. Essential oil of it is used to calm and cool the heart.

Many are good for the heart gems and metals that are worn on the body are taken in the form of tinctures or specially prepared ash (basma). They protect the heart on a subtle plane. Ruby, garnet and gold stimulate the heart; pearl, Moonstone, emerald, jade and silver soothe him. Yellow sapphire and yellow topaz have tonic and firming properties.

To prevent arteriosclerosis, it is recommended to keep drinking water overnight in a copper vessel.

Features of the manifestation (types) of heart disease

Vata-type heart diseases are manifested by palpitations, a feeling of interruption in the work of the heart, a feeling of numbness and constriction in the chest, as well as pain in the region of the heart that throbs, bursts or bursts. The patient complains of insomnia, shortness of breath, dry cough and constipation, he is irritated by noise and loud speech. Often appear around the eyes dark circles. Attacks usually occur after overwork at work or excessive physical exertion. Anxiety, timidity, fear, anxiety, sometimes fainting are noted, after which these symptoms intensify.

Pitta-type heart diseases are manifested by a burning sensation and "smoldering heat" in the region of the heart, bouts of sweating, and a feeling of heat throughout the body. The face is usually red, the eyes are reddened and inflamed, there are dizziness, sometimes with loss of consciousness, while the skin and eyes turn pale or turn yellow, vomiting with bile or acidic contents may be noted. The stool is yellowish and unformed. There is a tendency to nosebleeds and other bleeding. AT emotional sphere irritability, anger with outbursts of rage predominate, which further worsens the condition.

Kapha-type heart diseases are manifested by sensations of heaviness and numbness in the region of the heart, congestion, accumulation of mucus in the chest, cough, increased salivation, lack of appetite, nausea, sometimes vomiting, as well as a breakdown, excessive drowsiness, a feeling of stupefaction with a decrease in clarity of thought. More characteristic are such emotions as greed, affection, unwillingness to part with anything.

In general, it can be said that neurogenic heart diseases are generally attributed to Vata; inflammatory - such as myocarditis, endocarditis, pericarditis - mainly to Pitta; and diseases accompanied by congestive manifestations or edema (due to heart failure) - mainly to Kapha.

Vata Heart Disease Treatment

A Vata-reducing diet should be followed, with the exception of dry, light foods and artificial foods. You need to eat regularly. Useful fish and other containing fat-soluble vitamins - A, E and D - products. It is good to eat garlic, especially cooked in the form of milk broth. While eating, you can drink some red wine or Draksha. You should be at rest, relax more in the bosom of nature, meditate and perform yoga asanas in a sitting position. To strengthen the heart on the ring finger right hand wear a ruby or garnet set in gold. With palpitations or pain in the heart, you can lubricate the forehead or chest with sandalwood oil. The mantra “Sham” calms the heart, the mantra “Ram” strengthens.

Herbs include ashwagandha, garlic, arjuna, cinnamon, cardamom, sandalwood, guggul, elecampane, and licorice. You can take ashwagandha milk tea (3-6 g of the herb and one teaspoon of ghee per cup of milk two to three times a day).

Western herbal remedies are also effective: comfrey root, hawthorn berries, kupyon, myrrh; and Chinese medicine - tang kwei, jujube, ginseng, astragalus, the drug "Big Ten" and the like.

Treatment for Pitta type heart disease

Treatment involves following a diet that reduces Pitta with the exclusion of alcohol, hot spices, oily and fatty foods, red meat, salt. Prolonged exposure to the sun and heavy physical exertion are contraindicated. It is advisable not to encourage such emotions as tension, anger, hatred, resentment, thirst for violence. Feelings of peace, love and forgiveness need to be developed.

On the middle finger of the right hand, they wear an emerald in a silver frame, pearls or a moonstone. The area above the bridge of the nose (the area of the third eye) and the chest can be lubricated with sandalwood oil. The Sham mantra has a cooling and calming effect.

Good help herbs such as arjuna, saffron, sandalwood, shatavari and brahmi, as well as bitterness - aloe juice, katuka, barberry. Katuka or barberry can be mixed with the same amount of licorice and taken with 2 grams of ghee after meals. In acute cases, laxatives help. Good preparations based on arjuna, the composition of "Brami" and Brahma rasayana.

Known in Western herbal medicine, motherwort, myrrh, and golden seal are also used, and from Chinese medicine, dan shen, coptis, and compounds such as coptis and rhubarb (especially for exacerbations).

Treatment of Kapha-type heart diseases

The main cause of Kapha-type heart disease is an increase in cholesterol levels as a result of excessive consumption of Kapha-increasing food. A diet that reduces Kapha levels is prescribed. Avoid sugar, dairy products, cheese, butter, eggs, fatty meat, lard and salt. Useful herbal wine Draksha.

As with the Vata constitution, it is good for Kapha people to wear a ruby or garnet in a gold setting. The chest is smeared with camphor, mustard or cinnamon oil. The mantra "Om" has a cleansing effect and opens the mind.

Expectorant, mucus-removing herbs or sparing methods of emetic therapy are used. Arjuna, calamus, cardamom, cinnamon, guggul are effective. A good remedy for Kapha-type heart diseases is elecampane and pippali in equal parts. You can use red pepper instead of pippali. Take 1 g after meals with ghee. Licorice should not be taken as it may increase cardiac edema. Compositions "Arjuna", Trikatu and "Digestive Stimulant" (No. 1) are recommended, which are taken with honey.

Of the means of Western herbal medicine, red pepper, myrrh, myrtle, motherwort are good.

Nowadays, red pepper has been proven to restore cardiac activity after attacks and is an excellent medicine for Kapha-type heart diseases. Red pepper is also useful for Vata constitution. With a Pitta constitution, it can be used to restore cardiac activity only for a short time; it is known that it is better to take it with gi. Purified aconite is used in Ayurveda and Chinese medicine.

Motherwort is well known and used both in the West and in China, the cooling and diuretic properties of which make it a good remedy for cardiac edema and for the treatment of conditions of Kapha and Pitta.

Heart is careaboutGerman

According to Ayurveda, the heart is the center of prana, ojas and mind, in fact, the age of a person is determined by the state of his heart. Heart health should be taken very seriously.

With high blood pressure, high levels of cholesterol and triglycerides in the blood, under the influence of stress, there is a high risk cardiovascular diseases. Therefore, in order to keep the heart healthy, it is necessary to control these factors as much as possible.

Below I will give a few useful tips, and I also recommend that you look at the sections "Hypertension" and "Cholesterol - increasing the level."

The nature of nutrition. Cholesterol and triglyceride levels should be kept under control, do not eat foods high in saturated fats, in particular fatty fried foods, heavy meat dishes, cheese, ice cream. Yogurt is also not shown in this case.

Cholesterol lowering food

Certain types of food can lower cholesterol levels. These include, for example:

oatmeal

corn

apples

fresh fruit juices, e.g. orange or grapefruit

millet

most fresh vegetables

If you have high level cholesterol in the blood, be sure to include these foods in your diet.

Physical exercises. To keep your heart healthy you need to exercise daily exercise, but the load should be selected depending on age, state of health and type of constitution. Kapha individuals need more physical activity, Vata individuals are suited for low-impact exercises, and Pitta individuals fall in between (see Chapter 5).

Daily walks of at least two to three kilometers are very useful. More vigorous exercise, such as brisk walking, light jogging, or running in place, can also have a beneficial effect on the cardiovascular system.

Meditate. Meditation is one of better ways relax, de-stress and allow the body to heal itself. Ten to twenty minutes of quiet meditation good protection stress relief and heart care (information about various techniques meditation, see Chapter 7).

Savasana. Especially good in this situation is Savasana (yogic pose for relaxation). Lie on your back with your arms slightly outstretched and calmly observe the flow of your breath. You will notice that after exhalation and inhalation there are short natural pauses in breathing. During this pause, remain calmly silent for a few seconds. Do Shavasana every day for 10-15 minutes and gradually you will be able to achieve deep relaxation.

When to See a Doctor

IMPORTANT: If you have any heart disease, or you are over 40 years old, it is wise to consult your doctor before embarking on any new exercise program.

Additionalfunds andrecommendations

Golden water. Gold has a healing effect on the heart vessels and is claimed to lower cholesterol levels when consumed regularly. (For a description of the preparation of golden water, see Appendix 1.)

Herbal remedies. To strengthen

heart and treatment of heart diseases in Ayurveda herbs are actively used.

The first among them is arjuna. Take 1/2 teaspoon three times daily with honey and warm water. Arjuna acts much like gold. It dilates the coronary arteries, protects the heart, increases circulation, and helps maintain tone and good health heart muscle.

Ginger is also good for the heart. Drink fresh ginger tea. For this

you need to boil some grated or finely chopped ginger in one to two cups of water. Add a little grated ginger to rice or soup. For the prevention of heart attacks, it is useful to eat a little ginger daily.

The following herbal mixture also has a beneficial effect on the heart:

boergavia4 parts

katuka3 parts

goolvel satva1/4 part

mummy1/4 part

Brew 1/2 teaspoon in a cup hot water and drink as tea twice a day after lunch and dinner.

Another simple home remedy to protect the heart and keep it healthy is to eat a small amount of garlic, which lowers cholesterol, increases blood circulation and prevents congestion.

Rudraksha. Rudraksha, or “Tears of Shiva”, are dried seeds from the fruit of the Rudraksha tree. An ancient legend says that when Lord Shiva came out of a state of deep meditation, several tears rolled out of his eyes and fell to the ground, from which a rudraksha tree then grew. These seeds are beneficial for the heart both physically and spiritually, they promote meditation and open the heart chakra.

It is good to wear a necklace of Rudraksha beads on the chest, opposite the heart. You can put the beads in the water at night and drink it in the morning. This can reduce blood pressure and strengthen the heart.

Yoga poses. Provided that there are no exacerbations in the course of cardiovascular disease and general state allows, it is recommended to perform Sun Salutation daily, at least 6 to 12 cycles per day. This will help strengthen the heart and prevent heart attacks.

If the Sun Salutation is difficult, Grasshopper, Lotus, Bridge, Cow Head, Camel, Bow, Cobra, Tree, and Forward Bend can be done (see Appendix 4).

Breathing exercise. Exercises will be helpful deep breathing such as Ujjayi Pranayama (see Chapter 6).

From the depths of centuries

Charaka, a sage and physician of antiquity, one of those who first wrote down the principles and practices of Ayurveda, advised taking care of the heart in the following way:

"To those who want to protect the heart, circulatory system and vital essence, everything that leads to tension and instability of the mind should be avoided above all else. Measures should be taken regularly to strengthen the heart and vitality, purify the blood vessels, increase knowledge and achieve peace of mind.

“The practice of non-violence is the best of all that promotes life, the practice of preserving vital energy is the best of all that promotes strength, and the acquisition of knowledge is the best of all that promotes growth. Control of the senses is the best path to happiness, and understanding of reality is the path to bliss. Of all these practices, celibacy is considered the best.”

“From the heart, as from the root, ten great vessels carry ojas throughout the body. According to its meaning, the heart should be considered the head of the house and the breadwinner.

I receive emails like this:

“Hello, tell me please, can it negatively affect the heart? I started drinking it a month and a half ago and have been strange for a week pain in the region of the heart, has this not been observed before, or is this such a normal effect from taking it?

Lord, well, after what many of us eat, no poison is needed! And here, from vitamins - the heart hurts! (smile). Anything is possible, of course. Both from vitamins, and from a dose. Any vitamin in a huge dose can be fatal. But I don’t think that the readers of my blog do not have common sense and consume more than 1 spoon of the same Chyawanprash at a time. It is very difficult to figure out the dependence - what hurts from what. I drank this - that got sick, and I drank that - that got sick. Very subtle observation and purity of the experiment are needed (as a chemist by education I declare). No one knows - maybe your heart doesn’t hurt, but it gives something else to your heart.

An approach modern medicine narrowly specialized, in which each organ is treated separately, without taking into account their connection with other body systems. Ayurveda, on the other hand, considers the body as a whole, in which its various parts are functionally interconnected. If the disease is concentrated in any particular area of the body or organ, both this and other parts of the body are examined and treated. For example, an indispensable condition for healthy skin is the normal functioning of the liver and intestines. An Ayurvedic doctor may prescribe laxatives in the treatment bronchial asthma, heart disorders, arthritis, allergies and skin diseases.

For example, in Chinese medicine one can clearly see interaction of dense and hollow organs:

According to the doctrine of internal organs, inside the body there are five dense and six empty organs that are responsible for the normal functioning of the body.

The concept of "organ" in Chinese medicine includes not only the anatomical substrate, for example, the liver, but also the nerve, humoral, vascular and other connections included in its composition, that is, its meridian, as well as its inherent functions. Thus, a functioning ("living") organ is taken, and not just its anatomical structure.

dense organs(heart, lungs, spleen, kidneys, liver) as opposed to empty ones (stomach, small intestine, large intestine, gallbladder, bladder, the conditional organ "three heaters") are more hidden inside the body, more perform the functions of accumulation.

empty organs more related to external environment, more perform the functions of splitting and serve functionally dense organs. According to the concepts of Chinese medicine and based on the theory of Yin-Yang, each dense organ has a connection with a hollow organ:

- heart with small intestine
- lungs with large intestine
- spleen with stomach
- kidneys with bladder
- liver with gallbladder

Also interconnected are the heart and lungs, heart and liver, heart and spleen, heart and kidneys. Entire treatises of Eastern medicine have been written about this. And if you feel pain, then this is the 5th or 6th stage of the development of the disease (recognizable only in Western medicine "Here is pain, we will think - what to do with it").

And in the East - there were 4 more previous stages. Everything doesn't happen that fast. So the pain in the heart may not be related to the recent past intake of a vitamin mixture (within reasonable limits), but if you eat a jar, then anyone will feel bad.

The 6 stages of the development of the disease were described in “Also on the classification of the disease according to its source: psychological, spiritual and physical

And, as always, I repeat - use common sense - if you feel something is wrong - stop immediately, wait for the state to return to the previous one and you can try again with much smaller doses. Any drug can be both a drug and a poison, depending on the dose. Well, maybe some kind of personal intolerance - anything can happen. So it is very difficult to identify the dependence. Although - it is possible!

"Obligations towards one's own body"

As the ruler of a city shows foresight in the affairs of the city, and the charioteer takes care of the serviceability of the chariot, so a man should not neglect his duties towards his own body.

The axle, inserted into the cart and having the necessary properties, bears the load and breaks in due time, when the time allotted to it comes to an end.

So is life human body terminates at the proper time. Such death is called timely.

And just as the same axle breaks in the middle of the journey due to an excessive load, a bumpy road, a wheel that has fallen off, a malfunction of the wagon or the inability of the rider, the loss of a bolt, lack of lubrication or a fall, so a person’s life is cut off in the middle due to excessive stress, improper diet, irregular eating, immoderation in sexual intercourse, improper posture, bad company, suppression of impulses that must not be suppressed, and indulgence of impulses that must be suppressed, due to bodily suffering, poisonous wind and fire, wounds and neglect of food and healing drugs.

Hello Lina! I enjoy reading your articles!

I was 55 years old a year ago and was diagnosed with coronary artery disease, vasospastic angina! For me it was a shock, because. before that, I didn’t feel my heart, only pressure in recent times it was elevated, and then there were so many pills of all kinds at once, and most importantly right away, I started drinking, it seems that the attacks became less frequent, but then they appeared side effects and I decided to look for something else. our medicine immediately transfers you to the category of invalids.

We have an Ayurvedic office in the city, although it is more cosmetic, but the doctor identified me as Vata-Kapha and prescribed Arjuna, Triphala to drink, and since there are women's problems, then shatavari. I started taking it for 2 months now, which is the most important thing for me! although I don’t take medication at all, which I used to drink, only for pressure sometimes.

Lina, what does Ayurveda say about this diagnosis and is it possible to cure it. Or is coronary artery disease the finish line?

  2. Lina:
    -

Galina, you and I are the same age, so the problems of “age” are familiar (theoretically). Without the Ayurvedic lifestyle, doctors would have given up on me long ago.
Or, as you have, they would have taken to the “finish line”. But let them go there themselves. Most doctors themselves need to be treated (this is told to me by various relatives from different cities of Russia). So - listen to them or not - choose for yourself. If they can't heal themselves, can they heal you?
What do your diagnoses mean - I had to look on the Internet. Okay, I'm not an Ayurvedic doctor, but doctors don't need these diagnoses either. Ayurveda operates in other planes, and simply does not know about your diagnoses.

From this post, you have already understood that it does not necessarily hurt where the pain is given.
And it is precisely a single place of pain that is “treated”. The results are not very good.

High blood pressure is psychosomatic. An empty case - spent on pressure pills. How can they help from our thoughts and emotions boiling inside of us?

Well, the "Russian classical school of medicine" has many diseases that have not been heard about in other countries:

Lina, hello. I have been reading you for a long time.
Here's a question that might be a bit off topic for this post. How to treat Ayurveda vaccinations? Is there anything similar in Ayurvedic records? Did people get vaccinated in those days? If you can, tell me about your experience. Of course, I am already an adult, and I no longer need to be vaccinated, but of course I refuse any vaccinations against influenza and hepatitis (when traveling to India, Finnish doctors highly recommend). But how do you decide whether to vaccinate your child? I understand that every parent makes their own decisions. It is interesting to learn something from the Vedas on this subject.

  4. Lina:
    -

Regarding the issue of the origin of vaccination, in most reference books we will find the following information: vaccination against smallpox was discovered by the English physician Edward Jenner in 1796.
But 13 centuries earlier, an Indian text (5th century AD) says: “Take pox matter with a surgical knife either from the udder of a cow or from the hand of an already infected person, between the elbow and shoulder, make a puncture on the arm of another person until blood, and when the pus enters with the blood into the body, a fever will be found.
    So everything was.

But vaccinations when traveling - I don’t even know what to say.

My son has just returned from a trip to Peru, Bolivia, Colombia - they did all the vaccinations with his girlfriend (although he leads a very healthy lifestyle, no pills, etc., but he said - God forbid that - no insurance will cover the treatment for me ).
My son's girlfriend works in a travel agency, she told such passions what happens to these unvaccinated tourists there.
    So, I can't say.
The only thing is the will of God!

I already once described that by the will of fate I was brought far from Moscow and my son was born far from civilization, in some shabby hospital. Healthy and normal. Never got sick. Girlfriends who gave birth in Moscow in the best clinics - not everything was so smooth for them.

Some annual influenza vaccinations probably do not need to be done, but the main ones ...
Life is long. You never know. For example, they were not allowed to reside in Canada if all the necessary vaccinations for children were not made.
Therefore, make a decision as a family.

Lina! Thanks for answers. As you can see, I read with great interest everything that you write and accept everything in a general educational sense. I want to ask how Ayurveda considers the acid-base balance of the body (you can answer as a chemist if Ayurveda does not consider this). I have an opinion that a strong oxidation of the body leads to an imbalance of all doshas and affects the emotional mood. What do you think about this?

  6. Lina:
    -

I don't think anything about it. Once! (smile)!
And I forgot all the chemistry over the years.
Acid-alkaline balances are still from other currents of alternative medicine.
Ayurveda operates with Tastes, Qualities, Gunas, Doshas, etc.

  7. Verizhnikova Tatiana:
    -

Hello Lina! I wanted to ask you about arrhythmia according to Ayurveda. If possible, please write! Thank you.

  8. Lina:
    -

    Verizhnikova Tatiana,
Arrhythmia according to Ayurveda is a sign of vata imbalance. Hence all the “treatments” – the anti-vata lifestyle.

Of course, you need to be aware that not everything is so simple, and arrhythmia, in addition to high vata, may be a manifestation of some kind of malfunction that the cardiologist will tell you about.

The causes of any disease can be different -

Ayurveda recognizes 6 stages of the development of the disease from the very beginning, and Western medicine takes into account only the last 2 stages.

Both arrhythmia and vegetovascular dystonia are often written into the diagnosis when it is not clear what is happening to the person. Anything you want can be attributed to these two diagnoses.

And when vata calms down, then the diagnoses disappear :)

But, I repeat, not everything is so simple, nothing can be said at your request “arrhythmia”, you need to see the full picture and exclude cardiological problems.

  9. Verizhnikova Tatiana:
    -

Thank you very much, Lina! Thank you.

  10. Verizhnikova Tatiana:
    -

Hello, Lina! Forgive me for writing without waiting for your message to the post office. But, last night (from 21 to 24), there was such a strong arrhythmia! I already thought about the new moon, and about solar eclipse, and about the current weather in Moscow, frost and wind! I don’t know how to alleviate my lot, I drink (a lot of fear) Corvalol. my “trembling”. Thank you.

  11. Lina:
    -

I’ll copy here a part from the “Frequently Asked Questions” in the Cabinet for Consultants (this is not specifically your case, but the meaning is the same):

Q: The second day I'm worried about stabbing pains in the right hypochondrium area / today there were huge bumps of inflamed lymph nodes/ etc/. I really don’t want to go to the doctors, because the trips to them didn’t end with anything good the last time - they prescribed a medicine for which I almost had a stomach ulcer. What is better to drink Ayurvedic so that it does not hurt?

A: Ayurveda does not operate with such concepts - "it hurts today, give me something to drink so that it will pass." This is from the area official medicine. For something to get sick or form, the problem had to accumulate in the body. for a long time with some kind of imbalance, this is the 5th or 6th stage of manifestation. Ayurveda works well on the previous 4 - prevention and maintenance of balance, then there will be no pain. (See "Stages of the disease" in "Theory").

…Besides, I'm not a doctor, I can't make diagnoses. Doctors often do not understand what it is. It hurts in one place, but the reason was completely different ....

Official medicine copes better with treatment - some kind of painkillers, procedures. In Ayurveda, everything is slow and calm. There is no such drug to drink and pain / inflammation of the lymph nodes / and. etc. immediately passed. It will pass, but over time, when the body is in balance. But in acute cases (for example, with inflamed lymph nodes / a sharp increase in pressure / a sharp inflammation), you still need to contact a specialist in official medicine, which in such cases acts more effectively (removes the cause). And only then you will be engaged in restoration.

    Tatiana,
Specifically, in your case, you do not need to look for reasons in the new moon, and about a solar eclipse - everything is much simpler - an arrhythmia, which is often attributed to vegetative dystonia when they don’t know how to explain it (see) often unbalanced cotton wool, which, under unsuitable external conditions (the current weather in Moscow, frost and wind!) - rises to heaven. This is the most easily out of balance dosha. With high vata, a person simply shakes, the heart already jumps out, they cannot sleep for several days, only then they fall down from fatigue and still shudder in their sleep (convulsions and spasms are a common thing with high vata). The brain is churning. I have described the most extreme state to you. But, you understand, no diagnoses can be made by name, and you can have anything.

“If you can, at least give me some advice to calm both Vata and my “trembling” brain - this is what I do during consultations. And in general - everything is here, on the site, in the "Doshas" section (although quite a bit) :)

  12. Julia:
    -

Lina, is it so that after 19.00 you can’t drink because it will hit the kidneys?

  13. Lina:
    -

    Julia,
A blow to the kidneys always happens with excessive drinking of water.

The feelings we experience in the depths of our hearts are a measure of who we really are, and our thoughts in our heads are most often just superficial impressions passing through our feelings. Therefore, heart disease reflects the underlying problems of the individual.

Today, heart disease is perhaps the number one cause of death. To a large extent, this is due to the fact that in our culture, the fundamental goal of which is personal success rather than unity with other people, everything of the heart is rejected. Figuratively speaking, people die of broken hearts and spiritual hunger.
