4. Let's start sewing the collar. To do this, we cut out a rectangle so that the collar is slightly elongated. We sew, and then we sew 3 sides of the collar on a sewing machine, turn it out and iron. Smooth the edges of the unstitched side of the collar inward and sew. Sew lace-lace along the perimeter (except for the part where the collar will be attached to the neckline). Sew the collar to the cape.

Sections can be trimmed with a bias tape to match the fabric, or vice versa - with a standout silver or gold border. The crosses on the front and back are cut out of a white opaque fabric and glued with a hot iron on a double-sided doublerin. The second recognizable detail of the costume is, of course, the hat. If the house has a wide-brimmed felt headdress, it is enough to attach a large buckle and a feather to it (they are sold in handicraft and decor stores), otherwise you will have to glue the Whatman hat and paint it black. It is good to use acrylic or paint in a spray can for this - so the color will be even and shiny. On the sides of the brim, the hat must be pulled to the crown and secured with glue or threads.

Feathers can be cut from white Whatman paper (the edges are cut into small fringes), or you can simply wind bright tinsel onto the wire.
