Morphological norms are the rules for the formation of grammatical forms of words of different parts of speech.

Morphological norms of nouns

  1. Unshakable nouns, which denotes inanimate objects, refers to the middle gender: coupe, potpourri, bikini.
  2. Exceptions: hair curlers, riding breeches (pl.h.), blinds, kiwi, whiskey, brandy, coffee (m and sr.), mocha, penalty, euro (m).
