Obtaining information about the status of an individual personal account. How to get an extract from a pension fund

  • Date of: 13.01.2024

Containing an eleven-digit individual code, it is an insurance certificate of registration of a Russian citizen with the Pension Fund.

Securing your future pension worries every working person. It is not easy for people to sort out their pension savings, especially in modern conditions, when the pension system has been undergoing serious reforms over the past few years. The principles by which savings are calculated have already been changed several times:

  • The pension was divided into two parts – insurance and funded.
  • It has become possible to invest not only in state pension funds, but also in alternative pension funds.
  • Funds for pensioners who continue to work are accounted for as a separate item.

There are many innovations, and if a person gets lost in them, trying to understand what funds and where exactly are being accumulated for his future pension, SNILS can come to the rescue.

So, first things first.

Options for searching information about pensions using SNILS

Information about funds in a current account in a state or non-state pension fund is confidential. However, the account holder registered with the Pension Fund or Non-State Pension Fund has full rights to it. This right is confirmed by the SNILS number located on the unified personal card. Therefore, this number is the key to obtaining information about pension savings.

Citizens of the Russian Federation have several ways to clarify the issue that interests them.

  • Personal appeal to the Pension Fund of Russia. A visit to any branch of the Pension Fund can resolve many questions regarding pension savings. To do this, you need to have an insurance certificate (SNILS plastic card) and an identity card with you. The insured person will receive all the necessary information without any difficulties or delays.
  • Without leaving home (online). Modern technologies make it possible to check your pension “balance” easily and simply: just be an Internet user and register on the government services portal. It is also possible to find information on the official website of the Pension Fund, the new version of which became operational in 2015. Non-state pension funds also have their own official websites, which inform clients about the status of their pension account.

IMPORTANT! Information about the funded share of the pension, if it is placed in a non-state pension fund, will not be reflected on the government services portal. Requests for information of interest should only be made on the relevant official websites of certain NPFs.

Instructions for checking pension savings online through “government services”

  1. Register on the “Public Services” portal (site https://www.gosuslugi.ru). To register, you will need to enter your last name, first name, mobile phone (or email). Previously, the key for registration was a card with a SNILS number, but now the registration procedure has been simplified. If you have previously registered on this portal, log in by entering your mobile phone (or email) and password.
  2. On the main page of the site, in the “Popular on the portal” block, select the “Check pension account” item or through the “Service Catalog” -> “Pension, benefits and benefits” select the “Notification of the status of the personal account in the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation”.

How easy it was before 2013

Until 2013, working citizens did not worry about their pension savings. Because we regularly received written notifications from the Pension Fund - reports on funds received for the previous year. After this year, this order was canceled. The Pension Fund began to send such documents only upon special requests (written statements), so the issue of obtaining this information again became relevant for citizens.

Until 2013, it was possible to find out its condition from the annual so-called letters of happiness - notifications about the condition of a special part of the ILS. In 2013, the mandatory distribution of these notices was canceled (PFR Information dated June 11, 2013).

Note. Insured persons who form pension savings are informed by the territorial bodies of the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation about changes made to their personal information system in connection with the adjustment of information on additional insurance contributions for a funded pension, employer contributions for co-financing pension savings and income from their investment ( Part 1 Art. 15.1 Law of April 30, 2008 N 56-FZ; clause 2 Order, approved. Resolution of the Board of the Pension Fund of October 23, 2017 N 666p; Appendix 2 to Resolution No. 666p).

Currently, persons who are insured in the compulsory pension insurance system can obtain information about the status of their individual pension insurance in the SZI-6 form upon their request. Information is provided free of charge (Article 7 of the Law of December 15, 2001 N 167-FZ; paragraph 5 of Part 2 of Article 16 of the Law of April 1, 1996 N 27-FZ).

You can obtain information about the status of the ILS by contacting the territorial body of the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation directly or through the MFC (if an interaction agreement has been concluded between the Pension Fund and the MFC and the submission of these applications is provided for in the list of services provided by the MFC), as well as by sending a request in electronic form through your personal account at website of the Pension Fund of Russia or the Unified portal of public services. In addition, some banks participate in informing about the status of the individual financial system (clause 13 of the Administrative Regulations, approved by Order of the Ministry of Labor of Russia dated January 16, 2017 N 38n; Information from the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation dated June 11, 2013).

Let's take a closer look at each of these methods.

1. Obtaining information about the ILS through your personal account on the Pension Fund website or the Unified Portal of State Services

Sending a request through your personal account on the PFR website or the Unified Government Services Portal is the fastest way to obtain information about the status of the ILS. Information is provided on the day of request in real time (Part 1, Article 14 of Law No. 27-FZ; Resolution of the Board of the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation dated September 17, 2014 No. 374p; clause 13

Let us remind you that in order to gain access to the personal account of the insured person on the Pension Fund of Russia website, you need to register on the website www.gosuslugi.ru or in the Unified Identification and Authentication System (USIA).

On the Unified Government Services Portal, you can obtain the information you are interested in in the subsection “Notice on the status of a personal account in the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation” in the “Pension, benefits and benefits” section in the service catalog.

2. Obtaining information about ILS from the territorial office of the Pension Fund or MFC

When applying for information about the status of the individual’s personal information system to the territorial office of the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation or the MFC, you must submit a corresponding application and an identification document (for example, a passport). If you wish, you can also present SNILS (clause 15,

Documents can also be sent by mail, but in this case they must be certified in the prescribed manner, in particular by a notary (Article 77 of the Fundamentals of Legislation on Notaries; Clause 17 of the Administrative Regulations).

Information on the status of the ILS will be prepared within 10 days from the date of application (Part 2, Article 16 of Law No. 27-FZ; Clause 13 of the Administrative Regulations).

At your discretion, you can receive information in person, by mail or electronically, indicating the method you have chosen when making a request for information about the ILS (clause 17 of the Administrative Regulations).

Note. Application forms for receiving notification of the status of the ILS by registered mail and for obtaining an extract from the ILS independently from the territorial office of the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation can be found on the Pension Fund's website.

3. Obtaining information about personal insurance in banks

Some banks with which the Pension Fund of Russia has entered into relevant agreements (for example, Sberbank of Russia) inform insured persons about the status of their individual insurance policy. Information about the status of your pension account can be obtained in printed form from the operator or in electronic form through ATMs using Internet banking (PFR Information dated 06/11/2013). In addition, credit institutions can provide clients with access to their personal account on the Pension Fund of Russia portal and on the EPGU to obtain information from the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation about the status of the individual information system (Letter of the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation dated 08/07/2014 N LCH-08-19/10044 “On information interaction with credit organizations ").

Additionally, we note that you can also contact your employer, who is obliged to provide you with a copy of the data submitted by him to the Pension Fund for the purpose of individual (personalized) accounting for inclusion in your ILS (Part 2 of Article 15 of Law No. 27-FZ). However, it must be taken into account that this information is not equivalent to information about the state of the HUD (according to

We addressed this question to the Pension Fund Office to the head of the personalized accounting department, Oksana Vladimirovna Manko.

Corr: What is an individual personal account?
Manko: An individual personal account in the compulsory pension insurance system is not an analogue of a bank account. This account does not store money, but information about the citizen’s pension rights. Throughout your working life, employers pay insurance contributions for compulsory pension insurance, which are recorded on your individual personal account with the Pension Fund of Russia. Information about your voluntary contributions to your future pension, as well as information about your insurance period, is also reflected here.

Wherever you work at different periods of your life, information about your length of service and your employers’ insurance contributions to the pension system is received by the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation, recorded on your individual personal account and determines your future pension rights.

Correspondent: On what basis is an individual personal account created?

Manko: An individual personal account is opened on the basis of a questionnaire, which you can submit either independently to the territorial authority at your place of residence, or through your employer. As confirmation of opening an account, you will receive a certificate of compulsory pension insurance, the so-called “green card” with a unique number for this account - SNILS. Most Russians were registered with the Pension Fund back in 1996-2001.

Corr: How does a pension depend on salary?

Manko: The basis of your future pension is the employer's insurance contributions, which are paid monthly for you to the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation. With gray remuneration schemes, insurance contributions are either paid in a minimal amount or not paid at all. In these cases, funds are not received to replenish your pension account or your future pension is formed in the minimum amount.

Remember that only with a white salary your pension capital is formed. Check the status of your individual personal account to find out whether your employer is transferring insurance premiums for you in the proper amount.

Corr: How to find out the status of an individual personal account?

Manko:

At the same time, various institutions often require information from the Pension Fund to perform certain actions.

You can get it in various ways - by directly contacting the office of this institution or via the Internet.

If you need to obtain an extract, you should familiarize yourself in advance with all the main stages of obtaining it.

Important aspects

The Pension Fund of the Russian Federation currently accumulates and invests funds that are officially transferred to it by the employer for each person.

Moreover, the size of the pension upon reaching retirement age will depend on the size of such contributions.

Every citizen of the Russian Federation has a personal account with the Pension Fund. If necessary or desired, it is possible to familiarize yourself with all the information regarding this account.

This can be done by issuing a special extract. It includes the most detailed information about the amount of funds, as well as other information.

Before applying for this type of extract, you will need to understand the following questions:

  • what it is?
  • purpose of the document;
  • legal grounds.

What it is

Previously, for quite a long period of time, the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation carried out a constant mailing with information about the personal account of a specific individual.

But this does not mean that the future pensioner, any citizen of the Russian Federation, will not have the opportunity to obtain information about the accruals that the employer makes for him.

An extract from the personal account of the insured person from the Pension Fund is a document presented in the form of a table.

It includes the following main sections:

  • record number in order;
  • storage part;
  • insurance part;
  • which organizations carried out the accrual.

This information about the amounts accrued to the account of a particular citizen is reflected at the bottom of the document.

Also, in addition to this table, the statement must reflect other information:

Document name and date For which it is considered valid (formation time)
Last names, first names and patronymics of the person For whom this statement was generated
Insurance number is indicated Individual personal account
Date of birth is indicated
Information about insurance premiums A table is indicated in which the amounts are indicated, as well as the name of the main indicators
Growth rate
Total amount of funds in the personal account
The management company is indicated Which handles all funds on the personal account

The document format of this type is completely standard. The online statement of JSC Unified Accumulative Pension Fund also contains all the data indicated above.

That is why problems usually do not arise when “deciphering” this type of document. It is only important to take into account the relevance of the extract.

Since regular payments to the personal account of the future pensioner are made by the employer constantly, every month.

Purpose of the document

Receiving an extract from a personal account allows you to solve a large number of different problems at the same time.

First of all, this is obtaining up-to-date information about deductions associated with the formation.

Moreover, both insurance and savings. Using a document of this type, it will be possible to have an idea of the funds contributed by the employer.

Also, an extract of this type may be required in the following cases:

  • when applying for a disability pension;
  • if you need to apply for a military pension, according to length of service, or another;
  • to check the correctness of the calculation and formation of the pension.

Today there is always a human factor involved. That is why it is worth constantly monitoring the funds that are credited to your personal account at the Pension Fund.

This way it will be possible to avoid a large number of problems in the future when calculating the amount of the pension. An extract is required for a large number of different actions.

Up-to-date information about the status of your personal account is required by many institutions. Therefore, it is worthwhile to figure out in advance how to obtain such an extract.

It is also worth considering the main sections, since this is what is now used in carrying out various actions related to pensions.

The previously used one is currently only partially effective. Some of its chapters are invalid and no longer apply.

Today, Federal Law No. 400-FZ of December 28, 2013 includes the following basic data:

How and when insurance pensions are assigned, other main points are indicated

These primarily include the following:

There are also other specialized legal acts that regulate the issue of receiving a pension and its assignment.

They apply to certain groups of people. These are government employees, disabled people and others. If necessary, you should also carefully read the NAP data.

How to read information about the status of an individual personal account received through the Personal Account of the insured person, the Unified Portal of State (municipal) Services (EPGU) or through the territorial body of the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation

1. At the beginning of the general information block there is technical information: details of your request, on the basis of which and as of what date this information was generated.

In addition, your personal data is indicated: full name, date of birth, number of your individual personal account in the Pension Fund (SNILS), as well as the number of years of service taken into account for assigning a pension, and the number of individual pension coefficients (pension coefficients). Coefficients are calculated for each year of work, subject to the accrual of insurance contributions for compulsory pension insurance by employers or you personally. .

Please note that if you are already a recipient of a pension, then information about the length of service taken into account when assigning a pension is not reflected in the Information form.

2. The formation of pension rights in coefficients began in 2015. The first block contains information about periods of work before 2015, and after 2015 information about the period of work, as well as the amounts of payments of other remunerations and the amounts of accrued insurance contributions for the insurance pension, on the basis of which the value of the IPC is calculated.

If you started your career before the specified year, then all your generated pension rights are transferred to pension coefficients for assigning a pension to you in the future according to the new formula. The second block indicates the number of pension coefficients and its components earned before 2015 (if any).

3. Also in the second block the basic information on the basis of which the number of pension coefficients was calculated for periods before 2015 is described. The average monthly earnings for 2000-2001, the total length of service, as well as detailed information about the places of work and earnings of the insured person during this period are indicated. This data is necessary for calculating the estimated pension capital for further conversion into coefficients.

4. The fourth block indicates the amount of the estimated pension capital formed from insurance contributions in the period from 2002 to 2014. Moreover, the total amount of capital is indicated taking into account the indexations carried out. To convert pension rights into coefficients, the amount of the monthly payment of the insurance part of the old-age pension that you would have received as of December 31, 2014 is calculated from the amount of the estimated pension capital. In this case, the fixed base size is not taken into account, and then the resulting amount is divided by the cost of one coefficient as of January 1, 2015 (64.1 rubles). Your total coefficients earned before 2015 (if any) are shown in block 2.

This block also reflects detailed information about places of work, accrued and recorded insurance premiums, as well as periods of work included in the insurance period.

If you believe that any information has not been taken into account or has not been taken into account in full, please submit it to the Pension Fund.

3-4. The information posted in these blocks is reflected depending on participation in, as well as on the insurer with whom the insured person forms his pension savings.

    if you do not have pension savings and you are not a participant in the State Co-financing Program for the formation of pension savings, then block 4 will not be displayed;

    if you are forming pension savings, and the insurer is the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation, and you are a participant in the State Co-financing Program for the formation of pension savings, then blocks 3-4 will be displayed for you;

  • if you are forming pension savings, and the insurer is a non-state pension fund, and you are not a participant in the State Co-financing Program for the formation of pension savings, then blocks 3-4 will be displayed for you

5. The third block contains the following detailed information if you are forming pension savings in the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation

  • the selected management company (private or state-owned Vnesheconombank) and the selected investment portfolio. If you have not chosen any management company, then your pension savings are in trust management of the state management company Vnesheconombank (investment portfolio - EXTENDED);
  • the total amount of pension savings taking into account their investment with distribution according to the sources of formation of the funded pension:

Due to insurance premiums;

At the expense of insurance contributions within the framework of the State Co-financing Program for the formation of pension savings, including employer contributions (if the employer is another party to the Program and pays contributions from its own funds in your favor), state contributions for co-financing and the result of their investment.

6. The fourth block contains detailed information if you are forming your pension savings in a non-state pension fund:

  • the name of the NPF to which, in accordance with your choice, the amount of pension savings was transferred;
  • the total amount of insurance contributions received for a funded pension, excluding their investment, distributed by sources of formation of a funded pension:

Due to insurance premiums;

At the expense of maternal (family) capital;

At the expense of insurance contributions within the framework of the State Support Program for the formation of pension savings, including employer contributions (if they are another party to the Program and pay contributions in your favor) and state contributions for co-financing.

7. The fifth block contains information about the date of establishment and the amount of the insurance pension, a fixed payment to the insurance pension, the amount of the funded pension (if any), an urgent pension payment or the amount of a lump sum payment of pension savings (only in the case of the formation of the SZI-6 form on the date of the month in which pension savings were paid out.
