Additional education in design. Design theory Information about the implemented levels of education

  • Date of: 06.01.2024

To protect you, we let's share 2 key secrets when choosing an institute:

If you have chosen for myself remote form training, look for institutes, which specialize STRICTLY in it. An institute that receives its main profit from full-time education will not economically pay as much attention to the quality of distance education. Key business activities take up key resources and attention - fact!

When choosing an institute, look for a balance between the number of real hours that will be given to you and their profitability for the institute. You don’t buy smartphones for 3 thousand rubles, do you? How to evaluate quality through the cost of a course? Just take 3 steps.

Let’s say Institute “A” sells you a six-month course of 512 hours for 10 thousand rubles.

Step 1. Subtract minimum 50% for profit and overhead costs, leaving 5 tr. at cost, most of which will go to salaries for teachers conducting webinars.

Step 2. Find out how many webinars will there be and how long will they be?. Let’s say in 6 months there will be 12 webinars of 1 hour each. In total, the institute will spend 12*1=12 hours on you! out of 512h. programs.

Step 3.1. Compare courses at different institutions based on the ratio of actual webinar hours to total program hours. Those. 12*1/512. Where that attitude is more, they will personally pay attention to your training more attention!

Step 3.2. Compare the profitability of an hour of webinar based on the fact that on average there are 10 listeners. 5 tr.*10 people/12 hours = 4.2 tr. The teacher will earn per hour. Average market cost of an hour Ph.D. in Moscow is about 1500 rubles, but not 3 times more.

Conclusion - Institute “A”, dumping on price, receives excess profits from students who were attracted by the low price, providing them with a minimum amount of real teaching time. Do you need this? When choosing an institute, look for a balance between the number of real hours that will be given to you and their profitability for the institute.

Order No. 785 of May 29, 3014, No. 1968 of November 27. 2017)

Information about the levels of education being implemented

In accordance with the Law of the Russian Federation “On Education in the Russian Federation” dated December 29, 2012 No. 273-FZ, the following levels of education are implemented at the ANO VO “Institute of Business and Design”:

  • Higher education - bachelor's degree
  • Higher education - master's degree

Bachelor's degree- level of higher education, which is basic. The student receives fundamental training in a wide field of knowledge in the chosen field. This level of higher education does not have a narrow specialization, but is implemented in certain training profiles. The standard period of study is 4 years. Bachelor's training is carried out at the Institute in the areas of 03/38/01 “Economics”, 03/38/02 “Management”, 03/54/01 “Design”.

Master's degree— the next (second) level of higher education after bachelor’s, which involves in-depth professional specialization. Master's studies last for 2 years. Upon entering the master's program, students can continue to study in their previous specialty or choose a new direction, thus obtaining a second profession. After completing the master's program, the graduate is issued a diploma of higher education with a master's degree. A master's degree allows you to build a career both in the field of your specialty and in scientific activity. The Institute implements master's programs in the field of management and design: in the areas of training 04/38/02 “Management”, 04/54/01 “Design”.

Additional professional education - type of education received in addition to existing secondary vocational or higher education. Training allows you to improve your skills, expand your knowledge in a specific area, and deepen your knowledge within a profession or professional activity.

Additional education for children and adults— aimed at developing creative abilities and professional guidance. Training in the programs is available to everyone without any educational requirements.

Course type: distance course

Number of classes: 80 webinars, 1 hour 20 minutes each. + individual work with a tutor

Price: 50,000 rubles per semester

Duration of the program: 2 years

Document upon completion of the program: certificate or diploma of additional professional education

Who is the program suitable for?

  • for those new to design,

How a tutor helps

A tutor is a professional designer and mentor. He will create an individual training program for you. The mentor “guides” the student through the program: gives assignments, evaluates progress, and helps with advice. A tutor is like a personal fitness trainer: he knows your goals, capabilities and selects tasks that best train specific design “muscles”. You can ask your mentor questions and discuss the results at checkpoints - weekly meetings.

Study load

Each student has an individual workload: from 4 to 40 hours per week. These hours include completing assignments from the tutor. In addition to working with a mentor, you take part in weekly webinars on specific disciplines taught by art directors, creative directors and practicing designers from renowned studios. Webinars usually take place in the evening after 18:00 and can be watched in recording.

Qualifying work

After two years of study, you prepare a project in your field and defend it before a commission with invited experts. Project defense takes place in one of three formats:

  • presentation file,
  • remote defense before the commission,
  • face-to-face defense before experts in Moscow.

The most powerful projects undergo full-time defense in Moscow. This is a great chance to show yourself to a possible employer.

Certificate

If you have a first higher education, after completing your studies you will receive a second higher education diploma. In all other cases, after defending your project, you will be given a certificate of completion of the program. The certificate confirms the acquired skills.

After completing the program, you can move to the next level with a new mentor.

Courses - 1 academic year (9 months) upon completion of diploma

For those who want to engage in design professionally, there is a one-year program upon completion of which they will have to defend their diploma projects at the State Certification Commission (SAC). After defense you receive diplomas:
