The program “Wait for me” is a TV sequel of the famous radio program “To find a man”, which was launched on radio in 1942 on the initiative of the famous children's writer Agnia Barto. Then the transfer was the main goal - to connect the relatives separated by war. Many years have passed, and the goals of the “Wait for Me” program have not changed, only program volunteers are looking for not only those separated by the war, but also those who turned out to be in different countries after the collapse of the USSR, those who left for work and did not return, and in many other cases.

The main persons in the program are the presenters in the studio - Maria Shukshina and Mikhail Efremov.

Earlier, Igor Kvasha worked in a duet with Shukshina for many years. But the main people in the telecast are volunteers who send inquiries to passport desks, conduct telephone conversations, and purchase tickets for coming to the studio. Volunteers work in many countries of the world, therefore regional releases of the TV program “Wait for Me” come out, when the leading studios in Moscow are joined by studios and leading ones in Ukraine, Moldova, Belarus, and Kazakhstan. Teleconferences are conducted via satellite communications with such countries as China, USA, Israel, Turkey, Armenia and Argentina. In the largest cities of these countries, people gather in a special studio who wish to tell about those they are looking for.

At various times, replacing the diseased leaders, the program was conducted: Chulpan Khamatova, Alexander Domogarov, Sergey Nikonenko. After the death of Igor Kvasha, Mikhail Efremov constantly leads the program.

Unfortunately, in addition to the name and surname, you can specify only gender and age. But when entering your age, remember that if a person is looking for you, he may simply incorrectly specify it in the search query. And if you enter your age, you can simply hide the request you need.

If you want to go straight to the search with all the filters,   available on the site, it is necessary to slightly scroll the page down. Above, the menu bar of the official site “Wait for me” will open.

Select the fourth item “Check” and click on it with the left mouse button.   You will see a search window. In the right corner will be the item "Expand Filter". By clicking on it, you will get access to all possible filters on the site. Type in your data in the corresponding windows on the site and click the "Find" button.

You can also enter your last and first name. You can type them in both uppercase and lowercase letters - the search engine is case insensitive.

But the keyboard layout (Cyrillic or Latin) is important. Check one by one for both spellings of first and last names. Previously, you could use a virtual Russian-language keyboard by clicking on its icon to the right of each field. For its work it was necessary that your browser supports javascript. But now, after updating the site, this feature has been canceled.

If your keyboard does not work well, you can enter the necessary data for the search using the special features of your computer.
