Who sees the amount the sponsor contributed?

The amount contributed to the project is seen only by the sponsor and the author of the project.

Is the support amount taxable?

Why isn't the list of sponsors sorted by name?

Boomstarter respects the privacy of contributors, so backers' names are not sorted in the order they contribute money. The total amount of funds contributed is always displayed, but only the authors can see which of the sponsors supported the project and for what amount.

Can I pay by cash or bank transfer?

Payment is possible only using payment systems that are presented on the site.

Can I change the support amount?

Sponsors can change the amount of support on the project page by clicking on the “Change Reward” tab.

Attention sponsors! If the project is successfully funded, the last amount you entered will be debited from your account.

Is it possible to support the project if I am not in the Russian Federation?

Yes! In order to support a project on Boomstarter, a backer must have a credit or debit card.

How will I find out about the results of project funding?

We will notify you of the funding results of the project you supported by email.

How can I change my reward selection?

You can change the reward you have chosen by clicking on the “Change Reward” button on the project page. Please note that the value of the reward cannot be greater than the amount you deposited.

How can I support the project?

To support the project, go to the project page and click the “Support Project” button or select the reward you like. Enter the required amount and quantity, then click "Buy".

If I am not a resident of the Russian Federation, can I support the project?

Yes, anyone can support the project, from any country, with any citizenship and foreign card. But we can withdraw money only to Russian bank accounts and if you have a Russian passport. Therefore, if you do not have a Russian passport and a Russian bank card, we recommend that you support only confidently collecting projects or invest amounts that you would not mind transferring to other projects instead of withdrawing them back to the card.

If I support the project, when will the specified amount be debited from my account?

The money is debited from the sponsor's account immediately after confirmation of payment. If the project does not reach the required amount, the money will be returned to the sponsor’s internal account and can subsequently be transferred back to the details you specified during payment. You can also use them to sponsor other projects.

If I support a project, what information about me is available to the author?

Authors see the name of the sponsor, the amount contributed and the selected reward, as well as the contact information left by the sponsor and information about answering questions in the rewards. The sponsor may leave contact information at his own discretion; however, to make it easier to receive a reward, it is not recommended to refuse to provide your contact information when purchasing a reward.

If the project does not raise the required amount after the funding deadline, will the funds contributed be returned to the sponsors?

If the required amount has not been collected by the funding completion date, and the funding is made, then the funds contributed by the sponsor to the project are not returned, and the sponsor has the right to expect to receive the purchased remuneration from the author.

Reward

1. I didn't receive any reward. What to do?

   First, check the reward delivery date specified by the author. There may have been changes in timing.

   If project updates or author comments do not indicate possible delays in work, please send the author a private message via email.

2. When will I receive my reward?

   The author of the project indicates the approximate date of delivery of the reward (month and year) to all participants who supported the project. If the reward is complex, the date is indicated taking into account the delivery time of all elements in its composition.

3. How can I clarify/change the data for reward delivery?

   In order to change delivery data, go to the "Participation History" section and select the project that you supported. Next, select the reward that was purchased and click on it. You will see an "Edit" button, after clicking which you will have the opportunity to edit the delivery information.
   

4. Who is responsible for delivering rewards to sponsors?

   The author of the project is responsible for the rewards and promises in the project. Boomstarter is a platform where authors present their ideas and put up their lots for purchase. When you buy something from a project, you are not buying it from Boomstarter, but from the author. We enter into an agreement with the author, in which he indicates his passport details and undertakes to provide sponsors with rewards - in the form in which they were promised. If the author does not fulfill his promises and ignores the sponsors, the sponsor or group of sponsors may file an individual or class action in court against the author of the project. We can provide the author's data upon request from the police, directly to police officers.
   

5. How does the project author find out additional information about me to deliver the reward?

   When purchasing a reward, you can leave your contact information and answer questions about this reward. The author will receive this information and, in accordance with it, will send you a reward.

6. How can I buy a reward?

   To purchase a reward in a project, you must click the “Support” button next to the project cover, or the “Buy” button under the description of the selected reward.

   After filling in all the necessary data, such as delivery addresses and buyer information, you will be redirected to the payment portal, where you can select a convenient payment method.

   At the moment, you can pay the reward using a bank card or by transfer to a cryptocurrency wallet.

1. How can I verify the authenticity of the information provided by the author?

   Watch a video of the project in which the author talks about himself and his work. It's hard to fake! If you still have doubts, we advise you to carefully read the author’s biography, pay attention to the portfolio, Facebook account, links to other projects. It often turns out that the author is in the same group or community with his potential sponsors, or is their friend or subscriber.

   The Boomstarter team checks whether the project follows the basic rules, but does not evaluate the creator's ability to complete their project.
   

   By telling as much as possible about yourself, adding links to previous projects, interesting websites, personal blogs, portfolios, etc., the author attracts the attention of potential sponsors, which largely ensures the success of the project.
   

Refund

1. Can I cancel my deposit?

   Yes, but only if the project has a specific completion date. In “To the Goal” projects, the contribution cannot be canceled - this is due to the fact that the type of project allows the author to receive money monthly as the project is collected and implemented.
   

   Cancellation of a purchase is only possible before the project is completed.

   In order to cancel an order, you need to go to the "Participation History" section and select the project that you supported. Then find the reward you purchased, click on the “Change” inscription and the “Cancel purchase” button.

   Funds are automatically returned to your Boomstarter account balance. You can return them or transfer them to another project.
   

2. How to withdraw money from your Boomstarter account?

   4. 4. Enter payment details and fill in other fields in the withdrawal request.

   Withdrawal conditions:
   

   Withdrawals are only possible to bank cards issued by Russian banks, only if you have a Russian passport, only to the same person who made the purchase, and to the same card with which the purchase was made.

   Withdrawals can be made within a period of several minutes to 30 calendar days;

   The minimum withdrawal amount is 100 rubles, the maximum is 50,000 rubles at a time, 300,000 rubles per day;

   There is no commission.

   It is better to withdraw money as soon as the project is completed and the funds are returned to the account balance. If within 180 days the user does not manage the funds stored in his account (account balance), then from the 180th day of the funds, 1000 rubles will be charged. per day – storage fee. It is impossible to go into the negative: only what is stored in the account is written off. You can stop this process at any time by making a request for the remaining amount or transferring funds to another project. Money already written off cannot be returned.

   If you apply for withdrawal after a few years, it will be impossible to return the money to the closed account of the old expired card. We recommend that you pay attention to the validity period of the card before supporting the project - and issue a refund within a month after the completion of the project.
