SDS VOI was created to organize activities on voluntary certification of objects for compliance with the requirements established in the national standards of the Russian Federation and VOI standards.

How do we participate in building a barrier-free (accessible) environment and universal design?

We provide consulting and methodological assistance to those who want to make facilities and services available, but do not know how.
We conduct training seminars for specialists from all regions of the Russian Federation.
We create an expert community of highly qualified specialists in the field of building a barrier-free (accessible) environment and universal design.
We organize the work of resource centers throughout Russia, on the basis of which we introduce uniform norms and standards, rules and approaches in organizing a barrier-free (accessible) environment and universal design.

How does our system work?

Based on the regulatory documents of the Russian Federation, we have created standards and methods that facilitate understanding of compliance or non-compliance with the requirements for accessibility for all categories of disabled people and people with limited mobility of facilities and services.
The developed documents were included in the training program for specialists in assessing the availability of facilities and services. We conduct training, after which, based on the results of the qualification exam, we certify the specialists who have gained the required number of points.
Certified specialists create Expert Centers for work in the regions, which deal with the issues of building a barrier-free (accessible) environment and universal design in their region.
We provide consulting and methodological assistance and support to regional Expert Centers, as well as monitor compliance with the regulations and rules for the functioning of the participants in our system.
