They took tests for hormones (everything they took turned out to be normal) and for the papillomavirus, which was discovered, and it was also found in my husband. They treated me and my husband, he was cured for me, but not for my husband. After this, the polyp was removed (hysteroscopy on October 27, 2009). Histological examination diagnosed: endometrial hyperplasia, endometrial polyp; conclusion: scraping from the uterine cavity: stromal glandular polyp of the endometrium, layers of secretory endometrium with signs of disturbance in the development of the secretory phase. After that, I drank Norkolut for about 1.5 months, but it didn’t work for me (discharge appeared in the middle of the cycle), it was replaced with Dufastun, then Nuvaring was put on for one cycle, and in May they allowed me to try to get pregnant... But after 1, 5, having done an ultrasound, they discovered a polyp again... In August, I had an ultrasound done by different specialists both before and after my period, in the end 4 different ultrasounds + 2 initial ultrasounds - everyone always sees the polyp... They took tests for hormones again (for this since they also added thyroid hormones) - everything is normal. It so happened that in 2 laboratories they tested for papillomavirus, in one they found it, in the other it was not, after 1.5 months they retested it and did not find the papillomavirus. I didn’t immediately go for hysteroresectoscopy, but after repeating the ultrasound on 10.26.2010 - 11 d.m.c., I was told that the situation had changed and there was no need to do hysteroresectoscopy yet... After that there was an ultrasound on 11.11.2010 - 9 d.m. .c., there was a polyp, we started inducing pregnancy, 11/16/2010 - 14 d.m.c. - the polyp disappeared, November 22, 2010 - 20 d.m.c. - no polyp, 12/10/2010 - 9 d.m.c. - there is a polyp... I wanted to know if the polyp disappears, is it really impossible to somehow treat it at that moment so that it does not appear again? Of course, as always, I don’t want to go for an operation at all... Moreover, if they did it a year ago, and he came back again, then it means he can come back after this operation, how many of these operations will need to be done then...

Hello, Elena. The cause of endometrial polyps is considered to be a chronic inflammatory process of the uterine cavity, therefore, after polypectomy, not only hormonal, but also anti-inflammatory treatment is desirable. Unfortunately, polyps cannot be removed conservatively.
